Here is the official US obesity rate maps dating back to 1985 when the CDC started keeping records. It should be noted that Gushers were invented sometime in the mid-90s.

The map ended up yellow and red, just like delicious McDonald's. I'm hungry, brb.

Being a resident of Colorado, it seems to me that one of the reasons we have a lower obesity rate is that one of the primary reasons people move here is to be active outdoors. (along with a high percentage of vegetarians and people who insist on fresh, organic foods).
I would also say that it's a good bet that lower-income states have higher rates because processed, high-carb foods are by far the least expensive.

Well because of the percentage, its not very obvious that colarado actually has a lot of obese people, but as a percentage is less. Which could be linked to the high altitude, and active lifestyle that is commonly accepted there.

Does it make you feel good to say that? Yes, there's an obesity epidemic; it's bad and is causing many diseases across the country. People are addicted to processed foods and sugars and this is not 100% their faults, although of course it's so easy to blame a person and tell them easily to "stop eating," and all of their problems will be solved. Processed food is cheap and addictive, and for many families it's all they can afford. Your rude comment only makes you seem like the real lump of shit.
