This gentleman came along when surf movies were at their true low ebb, filled with routine shortboard angst and truly awful music...and showed it can be done with true style and quality music and guess what? The public responded and loved The Seedling and Sprout. Hell of an artist as well....it's what they mean when they say someone has vision.

no asshole. that movie was fucking garbage. it was a horrible attempt at trying to portray Darby, and it has nothing in common with Campbell.
