CBC News: Deadly violence in Egypt - October 10, 2011

Tensions are running high on the streets of Cairo, following a night of deadly clashes between Christians, Muslims and security forces. As the death toll has now rises, officials are vowing to push ahead with the first election since Hosni Mubarak was toppled from power.

Remember that little thing called slavery? Just 150 years ago?
