Unfortunately due to a bug the audio was broken and i had to remove it.

I replaced it with some of my favorite demo music tunes:

Laxity - Desert Dreams (Track 1-4)
Greg - Odyssey (Track 5-10)
4mat - RedSector Theme
Beek - Substitutionology
Jugi - Onward Ride
Bacter - Saturday Chillout
TMG - Stranglehold(C)JT

Another small problem that occurs is 2 little hiccups during emulation - tried everything to prevent it, but couldnt get rid of it.

  • Where can I get MP3s or CDs with those great songs? :)

  • Read the channel FAQ - there you find the links :)

  • Are you kidding me? The music just plays all the way thru, and no sound effects?

  • Im sorry - read the video info :)

  • The game was a combo of Mario Kart, Street Racer, and whatever else we wanted to put in at the time. The Amiga didn't have anything like this for technical reasons. There are lots of flat "mode 7" racers on all platforms, but people will always remember Mario Kart the most and this was pretty much the only one on the Amiga (Virtual Karting was the other one?).

Actually the game felt quite different to play than Mario Kart and had more of an emphasis on humour.

    The audio is not real!

  • Imho the best and funniest Mario Kart clone on the Amiga. A damn fine game.

  • @tunasnax how did you achieve the textured floor, since the Amiga hardware didn't support that?

  • Dentaku looks like the Terminator ;)

This is helluva trip down memory lane; I only ever played the demo of this but make no mistake I remember this well! :D

  • This game marks the era when the games developed were more about 'look mummy i can do this!' and less about the actual gameplay (the slew of dull doom clones is a testament to this)

This admittedly does look pretty nice though so i'll let it off ;)

  • Why don't the sprites scale?

  • nice demo-music.

Now I wish every game had broken music. :-D

  • i never owned a snes but an amiga, an amiga 1200 with grafix card..

Man we got that game and there were some upgrades i dont remember it boosted up the resolution, or was it by default ?

we had so much fun playing this 4 mates on splitscreen 16:9 television ^^ It was all fn hitting those lemmings and stuff :)

  • 3yE - Yes, I [alex] designed and wrote the game but not the editor - my (still) colleague wrote that.

I've never got around to doing a rehash of it because there are so many karting games, but I'd still like to do a more offbeat one :)

  • Yes he is :)

  • "we"... Are you one of the developers? <3
