My new SV650S

I picked up this red K7 SV650S a few weeks ago. It's got a Holeshot high mount slip-on and fender eliminator, and I have just finished installing the OEM seat cowl you can see on the back. The video does not do the exhaust justice; the exhaust is deep, throaty (haha, deep throat), and loud, but not obnoxious like straight pipes.

The previous owner left some melted rubber on the pipe though...

Would a high-mount exhaust cause any discomfort or danger for a passenger?

@andymcdo @andymcdo I'm not sure, I never had a passenger on this bike. However, while the passenger footpegs are out of the way of the exhaust, if they're not careful, they could burn themselves on the exhaust.

If you were looking for regular passenger use, I might stay away from high-mounts, simply because of the possibility of burning.

Yeah, it's sexay. I especially like it because the red isn't too pronounced, like a Ferrari, but a more subdued, darker red.

is that the red as it comes or did you get a respray, its nice and havent looked into red ones.

The K7 (2007) model of the SV came in silver or this dark red. Pretty good for a stock paint job. If I got some rim tape and maybe lower fairings, it would look even better!
