also i think it was a bit under handed of you to try and suggest that people who agree with capital punishment are weak willed. :/
nobody WANTS to be put to death. how could you say otherwise? well of course unless theyre suicidal. so its natural that someone who agrees with something might not want to put their own lives on the line.

though personally i do agree with capital punishment.
hell its not that hard to avoid committing a crime, let alone one that many people think you should die for committing. and personally, if someone is SMART enough to avoid the laws' hammer..they deserve to keep living, even if what they did was terrible. survival of the fittest, etc.
sparing everyone would just lead to more killing in different ways. inside the prisons, for one. umm what else... ah and overpopulation would be a bigger problem

Agree with your stand on capital punishment, here in Canada we have had a couple of mistakes turn up recently where people have been jailed for 20yrs plus, and then turned out (with better testing) that there is a definite reasonable doubt as to there guilt, and they may have been put to death had the laws been different...but there are always those cases that push my reasonable mind to the limits, particularly those that beg for death, but we cant seem to have it both ways ......or can we ?

Yep I know that he is against capital punishment I was just adding my 2 cents... BTW I always give him five stars 4 being a good guy even when he is way off... :)

i think most people figure out that capital punishment is wrong when they know enough psychology. it's far to easy to kill someone based on word of authority.
still i'm not comfortable with the law as anything other than a state right. abolishing capital punishment as a nation would mean leaving people in our prison system for years to come. something i am not comfortable with, but others may and deserve to live in a place that shares such beliefs.

there is always that doubt. and also here is also no guarantee that person can not change(even in they have to enjoy their new found change in nicer prison maybe)
