Farrah Fawcett was born Farrah Leni Fawcett in Corpus Christi, Texas, the younger of two daughters. Her mother, Pauline Alice (née Evans), was a homemaker, and her father, James William Fawcett, was an oil field contractor. She was of French, English and Choctaw Native American ancestry. Fawcett said that the name "Farrah" was "made up" by her mother because it went well with her last name.

A Roman Catholic, Fawcett's early education was at the parish school of the church her family attended, St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Corpus Christi. She graduated from W.B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi in 1965. From 19661969, Fawcett attended the University of Texas at Austin, living one semester in Jester Center, and became a sister of Delta Delta Delta Sorority [No copyright infringement intended!].

Kate Jackson said,

She was a selfless person who loved her family and friends with all her heart, and what a big heart it was. Farrah showed immense courage and grace throughout her illness and was an inspiration to those around her... I will remember her kindness, her cutting dry wit and, of course, her beautiful smile...when you think of Farrah, remember her smiling because that is exactly how she wanted to be remembered: smiling."

  • @GeorgeVreelandHill Thank you very much RIP Farrah. She was certainly not perfect but her work was enjoyed many, many countless fans and people around the world she should be remembered for her passion for life and her strong and beautiful attitude despite her many challenges in this life.

  • This same video was posted right after Farrah died and it had around 350,000 views but I guess it was removed becuase I cannot find it here on youtube.

Oh well thank you for posting the video. :o)

  • @patr70 you are most welcome she deserved better. Hollywood is the center of corruption and selfishness. Did you notice her name was not even mentioned during the tribute they did for all the stars who had passed the previous year?

  • You have the face of an angel ^-^ and brought smiles to many people's faces.

Rest In Peace Farrah and may God bless you!
