  • i got a question.. well maybe a couple.. lol how long have you been on the scd diet? and have you seen any results? and last thanks for doing the videos really appreciate it!! =D

  • Hiya Teinor, I've been on the diet since the end of 2004. Failed miserably and ended up getting a flare up. I tried it again and really committed to it mid 2005 and have been ok ever since. Results? I don't find myself running to the bathroom as often. I only go 1-3 times daily now. No pain, no gas, and got back to a healthy weight. The longer I'm on it the more improvement I see. It doesn't hurt to try it out for a month. ;)

  • woo hoo i've got UC aswell can i join the club blog thing...

  • Well... that's my own personal blog. I actually don't know how to make it into a blog-club thingy. lol

  • you are right fernpixel i been on it since last july, i was extremely bad and the gi's kept me going in and giving me all kinds of crap because at first they thought it was just an infection. no i am a very athletic person.. i was given levaquin.. and that almost killed me.. so after all that i didnt wanna try the other stuff so ive been on the diet my pain is slowly going away.. specially the bloating sensation

  • FernPixel Come Back! Lol Where are you?

  • aww, you have a lovely talking voice. :)

congrats on the new job - i really need one!

    - hayley.

  • don't say never. I've only been on the diet for about 2 years. I'll be on it for 10 years if that's what it will take for me to get a normal BM and have more energy :)

the diet gets easier the longer you're on it.

  • that's a very good point, i'll try to get myself to think that way and just chill out during an interview :)

glad to hear about the stomach, there's hope. but it really sucks to confirm i'll never have my energy back either, mornings are hard.

  • I don't get worried about interviews anymore. I figure if they don't like me, than I probably wasn't right for the job. That's why I don't get as nervous anymore.

My stomach barely bothers me. I don't get anymore pain. My only symptoms are that I just feel tired a lot and my BMs still look a little weird :x
