this is a completely AU video of cook/emily.

PLOT:
The video starts off with Emily standing on the edge of a building, ready to jump. Her boyfriend, Cook, is watching from behind. She jumps before he can save her. We travel back in time to about a year earlier when Cook and Emily first meet. Cook is immediately infatuated with her and she soon begins to like him. They hook up and start to date. After a while, though, Emily begins to notice him looking at another girl, Iffy. She gets jealous but expects it is just her imagination, but she is proven wrong when she sees them having sex. Cook begins to realize that Emily saw him but she does not say anything, until she cannot handle it anymore. They get into a huge fight where Emily says that she cannot take him cheating on her any longer and he tells her that he enjoyed it. He obviously loves Emily, but he got so angry that those careless words were able to slip out of his mouth. He regrets it the minute she leaves. And then we return back to the present, right after Emily kills herself. (THE NEXT PART IS NOT IN THE VIDEO!) The cops come and find Emily's body and they see Cook at the top of the building. He gets tried for murder. (BACK TO THE VIDEO) He pleads guilty but the jury ultimately finds him guilty, even though he didn't do it.

Alright, so this was slightly inspired by The Pact by Jodi Picoult, which I just finished reading. It is obviously extremely different, but the part about him going to court was inspired by that, and the suicide a little bit. READ THE PACT! It's AMAZING! Anyways, I hope you enjoy the video! I'm not completely happy with some parts, but overall, I'm quite proud of it.
