That really wouldn't have happened. Bush racked up the national Debt to only about 3,000,000,000,000 dollars in 8 YEARS. Now, that is a lot of money, and Bush was an idiot money-wise, but Obama's genius ass decided to rack it up to 12,000,000,000,000 dollars in his first 10 MONTHS as President. Plus, Obama voted for TARP. And, worked for ACORN, who pretty muched caused the sub-prime mortgage crisis. And he wasn't even President yet.

this is ridiculous. All of the debt that George W. Bush (and I don't support him either) racked up over the period of 8 years (and yes, it was considerable spending) was tripled, TRIPLED by Barack Obama in his first 150 days. and unemployment is still climbing. any questions?

hence exactly why there is a law in the hcare bill saying everyone must get insurance once the program goes into effect. and the point is NOT to regulate how u spend the money, if you make 300,000$ after taxed u still have like 200,000$, a tax increase would still mean u make 190,000$ a year, thats more than 90% of us make in 4 years... u can still buy 4 cars if you want to, the idea that its bad to tax someone making 4-6 times what most ppl make, more than others, is just stupidity and greed

yes but they are forcing a penalty on people who dont want this plan and so i ask what is wrong with my family earning 300,000yr who does not have health insurance all of a sudden have to conform or be penalized. Why is the burden upon the rich to pay for this like assuming that at birth this money was just handed to them, my family struggled for years to make it to where they are. There is nothing wrong with greed it is what drives people to make better cheaper products for money.

wtf? "theres nothing wrong with greed"?greed only pushes the greedy, many people are driven out of the prospect of a better world, not greed. not everyone has the same access to reach a prosperous level so they suffer, and die, because of greedy people. your argument is barbaric at best. everyone should be given a chance to strive, that includes the unintelligent man working at mcdonalds, or the mother of 4 with cancer and no insurance, your family can live fine and still help those who need it.

what you said is correct in greed but that is only one side of it, greed is more than just the rich the greed of people in general is what drives our capitalist society watch the video "greed is good john stossel" here on youtube and then tell me what you think about it. To your other comment i do think everyone should have a chance and they do in school but it takes overwhelming of self determination in people to go from poor inner city kid to college grad but few make it.

and that they may not be fair for the poor there are kids i grew up with who had every advantage that an inner city kids dont and they go from rich kid to poor man who works at MC D whos 35. life is not fair and its up to the desire of the individual to over come the norm of their surroundings and that is the american dream any one from any walk of life can do anything it only factors on how badly they want it and i dont think just giving money will fix there circumstances they need to also.

not everyone gets those chances.. and the cirumstances are different for each person. if your eating out of a garbage can by the time your 17 then how r u going to college? how? WITHTAXPAYER MONEY... or you dont do better and you die in a ditch somewhere.. the fact is, many millions of ppl cant do that by themselves and they need help, that help comes from the govt by way of taxes.. if ppl who need help are slipping through cracks then the taxes need increased.. its not that difficult to get

all im getting at is that there are outlets for people to advance in life but for our society to work you need the dirt poor just as much as you need the filthy rich or we can become socialist, like its your choice life is un fair

but life is "unfair" because we make it unfair...we can change that. life would be tremendously better in my eyes if everyone was treated and given acess to the same things..why should some rich teenage worthless whore get a new care once a year, while another is forced to quit school so she can work to pay for her mothers medical bills? and the same goes for the useless welfare creeps, they need regulated too, but as a society people should be more concered for "US" and less concerned about "I"
