  • The message of this video is do not flush medication! Using a local collection program like a household hazardous waste collection program or a sheriff's office is the preferred disposal option. If one of these programs is not available, using the kitty litter/coffee ground method disguises the waste medication, making it less desirable to someone that may want it for the wrong reasons. So at this time, most experts agree it is A Better Place for Pharmacy Waste as compared to flushing.

  • If cat litter was the only thing needed to remove the damaging effect from chemicals i don't think we would have any environmental problems with medicines at all. Tell me how this method make sure no harmful substances spreads in nature? Scary..
