Sailing to Annapolis Maryland

The timing couldn't be any better than to haveCaptain Tony join me for the weekend to celabrate Talk Like A Pirate Day on September 19th. A cold front roared through the Chesapeake chilling the Bay with NW winds 20-25 plus with gusts up to 30. Captain Tony is a weathered old fart sailor, having done 2 trips down the ditch to Florida Keys. With 2 reefs in the main we set sail to Maryland, sailing capitol of the US, home to our nations Naval Academy. The bay was empty but a few die hards and a surprise visit from Boat Pix , a photo helicopter units that shoots aerial shots of boats and regattas around the country. As far as shooting the video for this day, I must say that it was the most reckless conditions I've ever encountered but did avoid falling in "the drink".
