You know, the only thing that the ACLU strives to do is protect the principles upon which the constitution was founded. Those principles have been working just fin for over 200 years. Why are you suddenly so willing to attack an organization that serves to protect the things which make this country great?

Um, i don't know how to tell you this, but the ACLU is a watchdog that seeks to protect the constitution. Unless you weren't paying attention in history classes, countless people died centuries ago for the things that the ACLU strives to protect, like YOUR right to a trial, or YOUR right to privacy under the 4th Amendment.

obama could have ended all of those policies in his first week. i'm not surprised that he didn't, because the policies were never as bad as portrayed by the critics. when we look back at political rhetoric from past generations, most of it appears insane, and the same will be said by future generations about the critics of the bush administration.
