  • I met Dennis once when I had to go out and repair his own Kenworth one night when I was a mechanic. Spent 2hrs with him after the job was done going through photo albums of stunt work he has done etc.

  • I am honored to post the first comment. Road Warrior was a film great beyond it's time. It is, and will always be legendary.

  • @troyundroy1 You are right - after a stunt driver got knocked unconscious in 'Blues Brothers 2000' - stunt unions got tough on safety. Then again. .I dont know about the situation in Australia. .

  • I fear we won't ever see any movies that put so many stuntmen & actors at risk like the first 2 Mad Max films - thanks to the age of litigation and insurance-driven constraints these days

  • I was there today! drove around that corner in our motorhome! awsome place, just 20 minutes out of broken hill, ahh great movie, and the mad max museum is awsome!

  • @PatrolmanDark cool mate, thanks for the info.found a making of mad max 2 on youtube as well.they should of included these on blu ray release.would of made the whole package more complete.

  • @themachman19691 - This is from the excellent DVD feature, "Back 2 The Max", where they go back to the original shooting locations. I'm fortunate to own the Interceptor used in this documentary. I'm honored that Dennis Williams autographed the dash of my car.

  • how come this wasn't an extra on the blu ray?

  • Epic film!
