  • Sean Elliott showed so much heart during this playoff run. Nobody, except his close friend and teammate Steve Kerr knew about him needing a kidney transplant. He knew his body was failing him but yet kept playing because he wanted to help the Spurs win their 1st championship. Sean gave his body, heart, and soul for that championship. I am so glad the Spurs retired his #32, he truly deserves to be the last person to wear that number for San Antonio. He is such a class act!

  • make room for Gary Neal in the clutch shot category...

  • I have made shots from half court, 3/4 court, even opposite end of the court from the baseline. For the life of me, i have never, never, ever been able to duplicate sean's motion from coming across the lane, receiving the pass that near the sideline, take a dribble to settle myself while keeping from falling out of bounds, and keep both heels off the sideline, elevating and making that shot. And all those attempts were with no one on me and no playoff, team, arena, or city pressure on my back!!!

  • How is it that when espn, tnt, or nbatv goes over their lists for greatest shots in league history, sean's final three is either way near the bottom of the list, or not on the list at all?! If that was number 23 (either mj or lbj), number 8/24 (kobe), or number 33 (larry legend), that shot would be ranked 1, 2, or 3 all-time. But because its ONLY a san antonio player (not high enough tv ratings, apparently), that memorial day miracle shot never receives the credit it deserves.

  • I was only 2 years old, i get chills every time i see it.

  • If it was Kevin Harlan, It'd be "Elliott for the lead... OH!!!... Right between the eyes!" haha

  • Mad props to Shawn, Rasheed was right there lol I remember this game like it was yesterday!! Love these old games, tha Alamodome days!!

  • Proud to be a Spurs fan.

  • Even Tim Duncan showed some emotion!
