@dajman15 supressing fire should come natural not because of points, in bf i dont even care about the points until the end of the match. in bf 2 and especially in project reallity people do help their team cause its a necessity.
Because as annoying as it sounds, a lot of players won't do anything to help their team if it doesn't earn them points. DICE making suppressive fire earn you points is an amazing change, you're being rewarded for everything you do now, not just killing enemies and capturing flags/M-COMS. It encourages more teamplay, which is everything in Battlefield.
@dajman15 not higher bullet damageno but less recoil less bullet spread, and in bf you couldent just run in to a room and gun down 3 people easily so you needed to plan more, if you can drop people easier it wont be as essential to shot at the head. But also no you get points for everything, like cover fire why is there points for that, it should be essential to lay down cover fire to get your grupp moving forward. and like 300 points for rewiving someone its rediciulus, you should get 1 point
Sounds more hardcore than being able to run out and take a ton of bullets. This way, you'll actually have to strategically move around the map. The best player will be the one who is faster and can outsmart his enemies.
Also, DICE have already said they're using the exact same sniper damage model as BF2.
Considering EA and DICE like to talk smack against COD, it would be retardedly hypocritical to take elements from those games.
Besides, I don't it looks dumbed down or anything at all. The only complaint I have so far is vehicle health regen, and I'll wait for the game to come out before I really judge that.
@dajman15 well I sure hope not:) just pissed cause it doesnt seem as deep as bf2 was, thats my impression of the footage and the info from those who playd the alpha, its seems abit CODefied for the more casual players.
is it easier to use the veapons compared to bfbc2, can u use the ump as a long ranged veapon, shiiet this seems more like a mix of cod and bfbc2 than a sequel to bf2. now adays people are not interested to learn how to play a game so they simplify everything. they just should have balamced the c4 and the granades in bf and it would be a perfect mp. they are doing everything to cater to the cod players they want bring over and not the true bf2 veterans

The game isn't out and the alpha wasn't at all a representation of the final software.
