Savage band, made my summer that I got to see them live in my home town.

What a great band, I still listen to this album. I've grown tired of most of the music I listened to in the 90's but this album is a real jewel from beginning to end.

@sCmsalex yeah i used to think sex and candy were their only good song but than i listened to opium and poppies and i LOVE THEM!

All I can remember about Woodstock '98 was douchebags raping girls, fights, they nearly destroyed the whole place and Nirvana wasnt there. The 1st Woodstock was the best and is irreplaceable. Some of the bands, like this one MP, were very good tho, it had SOME good music.

no its not about heroin. its about opium poppies themselves, the discovery ("something far better, i'm told"), etc. the band is incredibly opium influenced, you can tell by the tone of it all, not to mention half their songs throughout their career are about opium. haha. such a good band though. very underrated.
