In fairness, it can be argued that AS the Cullens are "vampires", they, like other vampires, are only interested in what benefits them and them alone, and care little for the concerns of their cattle - a vampire's view of humans. After all, why try to keep something alive when you know it's about to die?

If that was truly their attitudes, then Edward really would have eaten Bella on the spot the first time he met her (snapping the necks of everyone in class in the processs). For that matter, they wouldn't bother attending high school. They would be too busy picking hitchhikers off the highway or something. They certainly wouldn't be "vegetarians".

Also, Carlisle is a doctor. He cares for and about humans. As the leader, I'd think he would encourage a similiar mindset in his "children".

We all know that the books and characters aren't real. However, the message that Meyer is putting out IS real: And that message pretty much is "I GOT MINE! IF YOU DON'T HAVE YOURS, TOO BAD! I WON'T HELP YOU!" Having characters with that much money and not having them do anything altruistic with it says a lot about them and the author.

Also Pokemon is better written.

In a nutshell: The Twilight Series(IT. DOES NOT. DESERVE. THE TITLE. OF SAGA) is nothing but a little schoolgirl fantasy that a 3O+-year-old-woman has. It's sick that it's gain such popularity. Meyers can't even SYMPATHIZE with Third World countries and have the Cullens, oh I dunno, DONATE? And if they were so rich, why would they even be living in a place so small like Forks? Wouldn't that overwhelming money and expensive things STAND OUT in such a small town?

Oh my god... I watch Iron Man and am a huge fan of him and his fan fics. He uses his wealth to fight crime (with the suit) and donate a lot to charity. Like his art collection to the Boy Scouts. But... compared to the Cullens, he's... reserved.

Meyerpyers are rich, gorgeous, immortal, and have the best sex (I read that from Breaking Dawn.). They are the embodiment of wish full fulfillment.

Besides the fact that you can't respect an opinion that is so tiny in the grander scheme of things shows that you're the real retard here. Because in the end when all is said and done Twilight is still your favorite book, and that's all that should matter to you not the criticism it gets from others like myself who have higher expectations.
