Sonic - College and the SAT

All video and sound post done on a PC using Sony Vegas. This Sonic TV commercial parody is intended for promoting early preparation for College and the SAT at West Mesquite High School, Mesquite Texas. I hung one camera upside down on a pole and held it there in front center while shooting at the same time from another cam on a tripod. We did two takes from each side this way - giving me four angles to choose from. I had to edit the dialogue a few places for lip sync in order to match the differing pace between takes on my final choices. A little sound work removed most of the outside sound - there was music playing continuously! The Mesquite Tower and the Sonic sign were added later by me in post, as well as the words that are on the marquee.
