Reason for this is that if you vote new president there is option (A) and option (B). Lets say you vote for (A) and (A) happens to win. You keep it as secret. Years after if that president does great job and people love him/her you can then pop it out "Yea he/she is great that is why i voted for him/her". But if he/she does bad job like Bush jr. Then you can just cuss people that have voted him and say i voted for (B) option cos i knew that this would happen. Even though you did not. XD
