A flythrough of Bioshocks underwater city "Rapture", made in my first year at Staffordshire University for Semester 2 Intro to 3D Apps.

Music is "Empty Houses" from the Bioshock in-game score.

Made using 3D Studio Max. Render time: 10 hours-ish

  • How do you get the atmosphere of the sea?

  • @spinydelta1- I just used a sphere with a ramp texture on it as an environment and put an area light above the main hall.

  • oh can you tell me what grade you got for your 3d applications?

  • A 15 I think

  • can you please tell me where can i get meshes and models

  • I'm the only one who has them, since I made them myself in 3DS Max for a University project. Theres probably a way of getting the actual meshes from Bioshock itself (which are better than my versions) but I don't know how to do that.
