GUYS. STOP CREATING STUPID ARGUMENTS ABOUT WHOSE ANTHEM IT IS; THE TUNE CAME FROM ENGLAND, BUT LYRICS ARE FOR EACH COUNTRY. AND BOTH COUNTRIES ARE AMAZING IN THEIR OWN WAYS. STOP.

It's amusing that after achieving independence the USA's first national anthem used the same tune as God Save the King; and their first national flag was the Grand Union Flag which was based on the British East India Company - both of which contained in them a Union Flag.

@catchatyou I'm American (And proud as heck about it =) ) but I actually know all the words to the Canadian anthem because I'm a huge hockey fan and hear it before almost every game. The best part is the OHHHHHHHHHHH CAAAAAAAAAAANAAAAAADAAAAAAAAAA
