reading the book again..my favorite. my first time was 18 years ago, at age 14. imagine my young mind's reaction to the cannibalism. i completely understand it but it still makes my body weak to read..what courage. what an amazing story! fito is right- theres something insatiable about it.

@Wazabooz Fito would be about late 50s now.

Even tho I wouldn't have understood without the subtitles he still seems to convey something much deeper and very profound..

@mtdirtbike6107 I don't think so, Javier would be about 75 now. Fito's old now but not THAT old! ;-)

Un abrazo a Fito Strauch desde Mèxico.

bravo, todo un superviviente Adolfo.
No, this is Fito Strauch. He invented the "machines" to turn the snow into water. The film "Stranded" and the book are both much better than "Alive" the movie. Conmovedora historia de la que muchos sacamos enseñanzas día a día. Gracias!

It's so great to see the characters of the book that while bieng only 9 years old I read..i LONGED so much for this day, to be able to hear in their own words about their experience in that tragedy. Thanks so much technlogy ! the internet s also a miracle, that despite of the "bad" it can do ( if used by evil humans )unites the world on a never imagined way.
