The Spirit: For Your Razzies 2009 Consideration

Even my friend was disgusted. In the theater, he made a good point, why did the spirit keep talking to himself? The plot didn't make much sense. Just bad people. I agree with the critics for once.

I love Frank Miller and Sin City, but this movie was crap. He even said he was changing the comic entirely to how he liked it. Just a very bad movie.

This movie was actually pretty good when the turned the volume down.

I'm slightly sympathetic about this film. The graphics gave the impression of a moving comic book. I will say though that I spent my money mainly for one scene, Samuel Jackson dressed like a Nazi, and that scene was priceless. The acting though wasn't good but there were films that were much more terrible than this.

I rented this on DVD and turned it off about 10 minutes into it, immediately returned to the place I rented and demanded for a different DVD. Needless to say, the guy at the counter obliged. The creators and producers of this horrid film should go back to doing their prior day jobs.

Do some research before you run your mouth. Frank Miller may not be much of a director but he's still a living legend who revolutionized comics. Show some respect asshole.

No, The Spirit doesn't deserve Razzies. It is a film that is just simply missunderstood by critics. Make no mistake, this will become a cult favorite in time.

FUCK THE CRITICS! Critics are nothing but old snobs who watch a film, and than tear at it, bash it, bitch about it, act over-critical, as if they know how to make a perfect movie. I would love to see critics make a fucking film for once in their fucking life. The Spirit wasn't that bad. If you were to fucking dumb to understand the film, that is your fault. Worst Picture of 2008? How about fucking Meet The Spartans, Disaster Movie, and Babylon A.D
