This is my 1943 ford G8T or 1.5 Ton truck. It has the 226 Flathead 6 with the 4speed trans. This is an old military truck, and has many unique and cool parts used only on the military Fords, and not the civilian ones. Like the slide out windshield, tow hooks, headlight guards, Round gauges, info plates riveted to dash with information, and 6 lug wheels. The truck runs and drives and starts right up. I'm going to keep it stock for now and restore the body.

  • To paint...To change Carriage....

  • I am hoping to get my garage cleared enough to sell it.It has a flat bed with oak rails. It has a lift bed with working hydraulics. The trans has a pto that leads back to the bed.I have a spare flat head v8 that I bought later .I think my truck probable originally had a cloth tent type frame like you see on other military issue. You can still see the green in places. The engine in it is a 6 cylinder. phone 717-207-8607
