All drug addicts treat the world as their personal toilet. Thank God for lung cancer 'eh. I saw a pregnant woman sucking on a cigarette the other day, I really feel she should be arrested and have the baby in prison where it can be taken away and adopted out to a family that cares.

yeah, butts are all over the curb at any intersection, gross. I used to drive a Miata, when I had the top down I had to look out for smokers - their smoke, ashes and butts just fly right in your car when you get behind them :P

What bothers me the most is the cigarette buds. They don't seem to be biodegradable, so they just sit in the grass and look terrible.
I don't have a problem with people smoking or doing drugs, but I do have a problem with inconsiderate people.

Uh, nicotine is the most physicaly addictive substance known. Yeah probaly inconsiderate thumping your ashs into concrete on a freeway but so is texting at 70 mph or yaking on your cellphone at stop and go traffic.
My point is the tobbaco companies before becoming persona non grata did an excellant job at getting people hooked. Now they are paying $5 a pack for their addiction and they are the butts of ire from folks like you.

@valhala56 Yes, I too was hooked, raised in a smoking house, asthmatic, even smoked the same cancer-sticks. Free of tobacco (except second-hand toxic smoke) for 35 years now. Not easy to quit, for sure, for sure.

@Charles2337 But not the filters. And the tobacco itself, if you ever collected old butts from the beach, have the most horrible toxic stench. The kids of ERF picked up about 15,000 of them in Newport Beach and presented the big bag to the City Council, which at first laughed -- but then had to ban butts on the beach, because no one wants to be "THE LAST SMOKING BEACH" and have all the smokers discarding butts on their beach.
