We listen to Gil at a meditation group on Sunday morning in Oaxaca Mexico. Maybe some day he can come down and speak to us in person!

as an instructor I guess he can wear anything he wants...does not have to wear a robe since he is a lay practitioner, teacher and not currently a monk.

I've listened to Gil's talks on audio dharma for around a year now.....you could have knocked me down with a feather when I noticed he was wearing jeans! Last thing I expected him to be wearing on his legs!!!

fronsdal is my absolute favorite. i listen to him regularly because he's the ultimate in "regular guy buddhist." i love when he uses the grocery store or traffic as an analogy.
