the build quality of all washing machines and dryers have got worse in the past 8 years or so. I've got a HOTPOINT TL21 tumble dryer thats been working for 13 years and still going strong lol :)

Ah ok.

We went to Ayrshire/Girvan, very nice quiet place but the weather wasn't too good, still enjoyed it though :). Where abouts are you?

We had a similar model in our holiday cottage in Scotland...damn noisy!

is it sensory. or just timer. ive got a hotpoint vented and the door handal has come off. by the way. you can reset hotpoints if they do overheat. but you have to find it somewhere inside. mine is nearly 2 years old. and had no problems whatsoever

yeah but it continuosly kept over heating, its a sensor dry so it stops when its finished!! a full load of towels takes about an hour which isnt too bad!! its just the noisiest thing ever with exceptionally poor build quality!!

well the door is cheap, but the rest is o.k. ive seen these dryers last more than 3 years. this is cheap though anyway. i think it was about £250, cheap for a sensory condensor
