I've always thought that TV shows like the X-Factor and Britains Got Talent miss a trick. The most entertaining part of those shows are the auditions. Why do they then go and spoil it by getting rid of the more interesting acts and focusing on the wannabe's? Seriously, they should take a leaf out of the TV talent show called Opportunity Knocks where the winner stays on.
This pair won on several occasions and this LP is the result. "16 great songs" is the title and includes classics such as 'The Third Man Theme' and 'Nut Rocker'.
They originally appeared under the name 'Jimmy Smith & Son', but a week later after the first of many wins they renamed themselves as 'Steven Smith & Father'.
