In Fairfield, IA, USA 2000 people come together everyday to practice Transcendental Meditation. The scientific research has shown that the effect of this meditation practice is provides measurable changes in society such as: reducing crime, traffic accidents, terrorism while increasing peace, patent applications and stock index's.

Transcendental Meditation is a simple, effortless mental techniques practiced for 20 minutes twice daily. It naturally reduces stress, increases creativity and leads the meditation practicioner to experience higher states of consciousness.

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi began teaching Transcendental Meditation in 1957 and made multiple world tours because he wanted to help rid the world of suffering. His experience was "life is bliss" and when he saw all the problems in the world he naturally wanted share his Transcendental Meditation because he knew it would help.

Also in Fairfield is Maharishi University of Management which is a fully accredited university that has Transcendental Meditation as part of its curriculum. This school was the first to have a degree in "sustainability" and has many other great programs for the betterment of life.
