  • The man is singing, why are people disrespectfully talking in the background? SHEMA YISROEL. You cannot listen and talk at the same time...whether it is to one another, or to Hashem!! I would like to listen to him, not to the talking.

  • The second half is R. Shlomo's tune, originally set to "Vha'areinu" from Birchas HaMazon said on Shabbos, later also used for "Mizmor L'David."

  • The melody was composed by Rebbe Shaul Yedidya Elazar ztvk"l of Modzitz, the second Rebbe. It was set to "Kah Ribon" and later adapted by R. Shlomo to Birchas HaChodesh.
