TIM RUSSERT- a man "of sterner stuff" as described by Chris Matthews on Monday, June 16, 2008. Chris paraphrased some of what he said on his program the day before.
Correction: For those of you keeping track, it was actually flight 77 that "vaporized" at the Pentagon, 93 was the one the one that allegedly crashed in Shanksville ...
Funny how Matthews mentions that somehow, Russert "knew" -- along with the 9/11 hijackers -- that they needed full fuel tanks to melt the girders of the WTC towers. We all loved Tim Russert, but this is a curious statement; jet fuel burns at a maximum of 1,400 degrees Fahrenheit, yet steel does not melt until it hits temperatures well in excess of 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit.
Did Russert also know that yet another full tank of fuel was required to vaporize" flight 93 on impact with the Pentagon?
He mentions how Tim figured out 9.11 first, then talks about how he liked to whitewash. Indeed.
