Working on my squat technique with heavier weights. Tell me what you think and advice?

  • @superbrownie87 if you didnt notice this is just technique work. i can do 315 for like 20 reps maybe more. my max is 425 and i havent squatted in over 6 months cause im healing 3 herniated discs in my back i got from playing football. shut the fuck up

  • @superbrownie87 horrible for your body weight

  • Hard to tell if those are ATG (they look below parallel, though), but ATG are more beneficial to overall strength than not, if you're still playing sports. If you're just looking for powerlifting, a low bar stance would suit you better. They don't look too shabby, though.

    @superbrownie87 Unless you've been lifting since you were young, I highly doubt you can do sets of 10 with 315 at 180 pounds to proper depth. 315 is heavy for the general population, and YouTube is a public site, you douche.

  • i know what your saying about healing from a football injury... i have a bad neck from football, nothing broken but now on freeweight squats i cant go heavier than 225lb... smith i can easily do 500lb but then again its smith, i can deadlift 500 and leg press 1500 but when it comes to squats i always make myself look weak in the gym because i played football too recklessly
