Elvis Gordon is a heavyweight Great Britain Judo Legend who competed in 3 Olympic Games, won a Silver in the 1987 World Championships, Gold in the 1988 European Championships and double Gold at the 1990 Commonwealth Games.
Elvis orginated from Jamaica and was based at the world famous Wolverhampton Judo Club which included other British super stars such as Densign White, Kerrith Brown and Dennis Stewart.
Elvis sadly passed away after suffering with pancreatic cancer on Friday 6 May 2011.

this man used to carry all my moms shopping home from wolverhampton market to adilaied st when i was 8 years old as i got older he used to bounce at the rollerdrome skateing ring he went to break up a fight as he jumped clean over the barrier, nosey 7st me caught his skate straight in the mouth cracked my front tooth he picked me up with one hand looked at my mouth rubbed my afro then more or less droped me back on the floor.hes allways been a close friend to my fam RIP BIG ELVIS

the funeral was epic...never seen anything like it..the church was packed and even more turned up at the graveside...we miss you
