So many Universities wanted Unix to be able to work on various machines. This led to two evolved versions of Unix called System V created by AT&T Bell Labs and BSD Berkeley Software Distribution, created by University of California...Linux is still Unix, however it uses features of both versions.

The cal command...
The language settings in Ubuntu determines if Sunday is the first day of the week or Monday. If you change your language settings from English-UK to English-US, logout and login, the cal command will show Sunday as the first day of the week; if your language is English-UK, cal will show Monday as the first day of the week.

there are more advanced version of c++,gnu,dos commands and they run very effecently withn almost no eror"s.
