Continuing on my road to guitar self-education, I thought this would be a fun song to learn. The intro riff and part during the chorus is sure fun to play. Well, turns out the lead parts were quite a bit more difficult than I had anticipated. But I stuck with it and finally am able to futz my way though them. Practice and perseverance does pay off.

Thanks once again to Mark at MasterTheGuitar: http://ca.youtube.com/user/mastertheguitar for getting me started with the intro.

Guitar is my OLP MM1FR. Amp is an Epiphone Valve Jr. with a Tonebone Radial Classic distortion pedal.

  • Do you wear gloves? Because you're hands are A LOT less tan than your arms haha

  • Well, that's definitely the funniest comment I've ever received! The answer is...yes, I do wear a glove but only when I play golf and it's always on my left hand.

I think what you're seeing is, the hair on my arms inexplicably stops just above my wrist. So it's like I'm wearing a hair shirt. But thanks for noticing and for the good laugh ;-)

  • What is the tuning of that song?

  • Just standard tuning.

  • By far the best cover i've seen, any chance of gettin' tabs? Anyway keep rockin' on dude.

  • Well, thanks man! I used a combo of tabs from the usual sites and check my subs for MasterTheGuitar for the intro riff and ClassicRockRiffs for the lead parts. Rock on, Brother!

  • great great great

  • :O very good mate, gimme tabs :P, I know it isnt hard to learn but the tabs posted on the internet are different to ur fingering.

Were u using a webcam coz i can see a reflection of ur computer in ur guitar :P

  • Well done man, I'm learning this song as we speak haha, one thing though is you're playing the part "Touching you, touching me" wrong. It starts with an E then to a F#m. But great otherwise haha I liked your enthusiasm. The pinch harmonic on the last note is tricky heh i laughed :P

  • Nice, some parts are wrong but still work. For instance when Justin plays the guitar part during "touching me..." it's actually a full E major chord he hits. The solos are a little sloppy. But the one thing I'm impressed with is that unlike everyone else you play the last chorus part correct. Most people believe it's the same as it is the rest of the song.

  • Awesome cover mate! :D

  • Haha well that's good to know. Good cover, by the wayl

  • Played!

  • It's a half step up - sounds better I think :D
