I love Tarja and I love Anette. I don't know how I feel watching Anette sing the old songs. Some of them sound really good--but others--others are obviously catered more for Tarja's style and range. <3 NW then and <3 NW now though :D

When people say that Anette's voice is so warm & sweet, it always seems to me that they lack love & warmth in life) Tarja's voice was perfect for Nightwish..
but I agree they're both brilliant!!

To tell the truth? I like Annete's version of this song better. =) It sounds warmer and more intimate than with Tarja. Actually I became a fan of Nightwish after they changed the vocalist. So I don't feel any loss. Both of them are good at singing this song, just in different ways, that spices it up differently. =)

This wasnt as bad as i thought it would be.Now i`ve just recently started listening to NW again after a few years so i`m still trying to form an opinion on the "new" girl(Anette) So,Is the album she recorded with NW worth the download or will i be dissaponted?

i don't think that having a bad pronunctiation menas taht you are a bad singer..sure it affects singing but that doesn't mean that you have a bad technique or a boring tone :/

I don't understand the need to label music. Nightwish is Nightwish, why force them into one kind of music? Ever Dream isn't metal, nor Come Cover Me, nor Ocean Soul, nor Forever Yours, nor The Islander. Nightwish is simply MUSIC the way they want to play it.
