To me anything Candice sings far surpases any original and moves the soul, heart, body and mind. Love her to bits, fantastic singing voice, so pure and gentle but yet so empowered and moving. A true inspiration to anyone who ever hears any of her songs.
Surely she should get a recognition for such a pure, perfect voice and a perfect partner for such a musical legend as Richie

I just listened to this today and it was an instant hit. In the studio version Carol has male accompaniment, this is well suited as a duet.

Anyone ever hear the version by The Spinners? (Liverpool, not Motown) That's how I first became aware of the song, loved it ever since.
