Lady No is perhaps the first character I've used so far, and one of the only characters in the game, that can't survive in Chaos consistently. Think through it quickly, and all of her charge attacks need a lot of execution time. With those short reach normal attacks, and her being a Speed type, there's isn't much you can do to guarantee a method that will allow her to survive through a Chaos stage consistently. As Rydain puts it, If Lu Xun has butter knife reach, No has paper clip reach.

So, since there's nothing she can really do to avoid getting hit, damage or offensive maximization seems more appropriate. Against generic officers, one C4 will get the job done. The second elemental strike will have Multi miss, and I haven't found a way to make this work (that is having both these elemental hits activate Multi). Anyhow, a full C4 will defeat a generic. Her C4 should be easy to execute against officers in small crowds. But obviously, it isn't perfect, because she can still get hit pretty easily during her normal attacks. Against Kotaro then, C4, R1, C2 will work. The next step up then, against Da Ji and Orochi, C4, R1, C4 is needed. The fastest offense against double defense Lu Bu is C3, R1, JA, C4, R1, C4. Although....it's not that consistent. Note that in order to setup up for follow up attacks, an R1 is needed after C4, and R1 and JA are needed after C3, and C3 can only be used as a starting attack. (You can juggle with C4-2 but this wouldn't be practical because she's not using any elemental attacks)

There are other tricks such as bombing officers, by using her DirR1 to set the bomb, and then detonating it with her C2-1. After this, she can quickly double jump and Jump Attack to set things up. But again, no matter what you do, her defense is never good.

I panicked and hoped for R1 to work, and it did. lol, but yea...it can be quite challenging to solo with No. Orochi is a tough opponent.

I'm speaking about Warriors Orochi 2 but I can survive Chaos consistently with Nohime. My offense revolves around her JC and chaining into a Dir R1 to set a bomb. When she sets the bomb, it counts as a strike so I can immediately jump away and JC into another area and repeat. Once I've done that, I can make my way to the edge of the crowd and use her C3 or C4 to detonate the bombs and clear out the crowd.

It takes some patience and concentration, but it works for me.
