How many slots does your makbook have?
Or do you have to take out your ram and put in the new one?
-
my macbook has a 2.13 GHz intel core duo and on crucials web site it doesnt have an option for that?
-
what are the specs on your mac? i heard when they say you can only upgrade to
2 gb of ram you can really do 4gb is this true?
-
Cheers dude, great vid you are the only one on you tube who turns the macbook on at the end. Confidence dude, confidence

Hey mate,
Thanks for the video, it was a huge help. I've just ordered the same RAM chips as you from Crucial, I put your email address in as you technically referred me to them. Maybe you'll get a discount on something....
I'm wanting to upgrade my HDD also, I don't suppose you know if it's possible to find a 1Tb to fit the Macbook? The ones I've found so far are 12.5mm deep instead of the 9mm required for this model.
Thanks again!

@EngineerAn Hi, thanks for the recommendation, not sure what will happen with that. As for the HDD I'm not too sure, I've had a google round and I think the largest drive you can get is a 500GB. They seem to range from £50 onwards, so I'm sure you'll find a good deal.

Will your mac notice that you have install 4GB or do you have to do something so that your mac nows that you've installed more RAM?

If you have installed the RAM correctly then the computer should see it straight away.
If neither stick is working after you have installed them then you should get a strange beeping noise from the computer.
However, if one stick is working then the computer will boot, so it is a good idea to check that it is recognising the right amount of RAM that you put in.
Hope this helps, and if you have any other questions, do ask.

will this make my framerate go up if i play games?

Sorry for the late reply, it would certainly help make the game run faster yes, but it wouldn't improve on the graphics, just how fast the game run.
