@gothicbabescharlie 1. The rack is dark, gecko isn't stressed, humidity is fine, no need for hides in this situation.
2. This was cleaning day. I knew I was going to get flack for having poop in the video, next time I'll clean before I make a video.
3. I was trying to film with one hand and feed with another, hence shaky hands.
4. No, it's not.
5. Yes, it has enigma issues. Did you watch the video on mute? Or read any of the comments?
6. She's fed daily. She's simply got spunk.

Honestly, Enigmas are my favorite despite there syndrome some of them can show. My boy Bentley dosnt show the syndrome at all. My first boy was a enigma too and he didnt show it either(although one of his babies did a little) theres just something about them I love :)

My little one has ES too, bless their little hearts. They're funny little critters, aren't they? :]

@knuhcx She's still in my care, eating like a horse and still can't aim for beans. She and her sister are cute though!

why do you keep them, are they sick?
MyHumanLife2011 11 months ago
@MyHumanLife2011 Nope, they're not sick. Enigmas are known to have eyesight issues, although the cause is still under debate since not all enigmas share this trait. This girl and her clutch mate both have vision problems, while all other enigmas I hatched out last year are fine. It might be genetic, but I think other factors such as fluctuating incubation temperatures, age of the mother, and health of the mother are all factors influencing this problem.

@MyHumanLife2011 Also, I keep them because although I would never breed these two, they still make excellent pets.

Ugh, ignore the idiots flaming you. I think she is gorgeous and I would totally have her if I wasn't in the UK. I think her setup is just fine, a little poop every now and again won't hurt. You could see she was ok, it's not as if she was caked in it -.-

@Medusii Thanks for your comment! Yeah, it's disheartening how quickly people jump on you for imperfections. I suppose anonymity gives trolls power? While I'm glad that people read caresheets now on reptile care (certainly a positive change from even just 10 years ago), I just wish they'd read caresheets about how to treat other people. *shrug*
