    Nicely said. The reason there are so many remakes is that hollywood is out of ideas. Worse than this was the rumored Dolemite remake with L.L. Cool J in the Rudy Ray Moore role,for fuck's sake. Thankfully it was just that. A rumor.

    The movie was done by screenplay of making bat nipples and bat asses "shudders" Joel Schumacher. I guess he didn't show black people show their bat asses.

    I used to work at a car wash back in the 70's and this movie was exactly the things that went on there. We had the regulars that we had nick names for. The Pimp-he dressed just like one. The rich man, his belt buckle was made out of nickels and drove an expensive car. The state trooper that used his lights to get home. The army man. The woman with the joint. And Darrell Waltrip came through with his little brother, Mike. Yes, this is in Owensboro, Ky
