I've always loved this song, it's a classic. Several years ago in Chicago a bank used this song in their television commercials. I always loved when the commerical aired because I love the song so much!

A great song from a true Native American band. Aside from the political stuff, these guys could perform and were on Midnight Special and Don Kirshner's Rock Concert several times. Great song that actually charted at #5 in April of 1974. Stayed on the Billboard Top 100 for 18 weeks but was released in late 1973.
