This is where Kazumi Totaka's Song is found in the Japan-only Nintendo Game Boy title, X (エックス Ekkusu). This was the first game Kazumi Totaka composed music for. It is also the first game to include Kazumi Totaka's Song, which was found in several other Nintendo titles that Kazumi Totaka worked on.
When I get to the part where you see a scientist making a wacky face, wait for 42 seconds and you'll hear Kazumi Totaka's Song.

One: It's creepy, because it's the wrong scientist. The real one (seen in Mission 4) isn't creepy.
Two: Although, old news, the Famicom/NES Gradius also de-throned the Famicom/NES Contra as the first game to have the Konami Code.
