Mike Ault, Gary Grainger, Blues Webb, Neil Schon, Paul Smith and Derek St. Holmes - can you say ultimate band?
-
@guitarconasor They did over the singlecut body shape, and Gibson lost. I'm surprised Neil Schon didn't sue Gibson over how identical the Les Paul Axxcess is (Alex Lifeson Signature) and killing his signature model.

@scottkernperry Exactly!!

Making a big to-do about Gibson and PRS in a battle over 100 Schon LP's is just plain stupid! He's been playing LP's and PRS's , both for years. Gibson first crys about the single cutaway, when Tremonty had his built, now it's Neil. What Gibson needs to do, is what PRS is doing, get off their asses and start coming out with some more original products, and quit crying because a guitarist wants to switch around a bit. PRS was making those guitars Neil uses, before they built those 100 guitars.

@guitarconasor It's better that an artist moves from brand to brand. That way he or she doesn't feel like they are owned by a particular brand. It keeps the guitar companies pleasing the artist instead of the artist pleasing the guitar builder. That's the way it should be anyway.

@DTM1864 I think there are only 100 Gibson Neal Schon models. PRS getting sued by Gibson is will documented.
-
@guitarconasor Gibson sued PRS for making the single cut style guitar a couple of years ago but the law suit didn't hold up. It just stopped production for a few years. As for the electronics; they are exclusive to Neal Schon; whatever guitar he feels like getting built for him has that electronic setup. A couple of years ago Neal was playing PRS McCarty style guitars with that electronics setup exclusively. Then Gibson made him some guitars like that; now PRS again.

I wonder what's the title of this song? Sounds pretty awesome

I'm surprised Gibson didn't sue PRS of that guitar Neal is playing. It looks just like the Gibson Schon model with the electronics set-up.
