http://CollisionBlast.com/AmazonBooks - This is a 30 minute video that demonstrates a method of how to fix dents in your car repair. It covers everything from dent repair to applying body filler (bondo) and block sanding the body filler. I originally made this as an exclusive video for the members of my website, but I received many messages that the viewer could not watch the QuickTime video. Therefore, I added it to YouTube to simplify the video for all of the members having troubles with the video.

This video will take you all the way to from repairing the damage to block sanding the auto body filler up to 150 grit. The dent can now be finished and ready for primer or a light coat of finish glaze to be applied and block sanded.

  • A great trick for doing filler work is... after fairing out the filler, put a piece of wax paper over the wet filler or patch area and smooth it out,Then after about 5 minutes when the filler has solidified, (*but before the mix has completely hardened or cured), remove or gently peel off the wax paper, and it leaves a nice smooth surface with very little sanding to do. It works great !!!. large holes can be covered by putting the filler on wax paper first, then apply it to the repair area.

  • @shirleymae30 Thanks for the tip. I have never tried this, but I'm always up for trying something new. I'll give it a try. Thanks! If you have any other tips, let me know.
