this is the best fuckin club,used to love the old sankeys but man this lighting system kiss ass,many o gary ablets in this place,smashed the granny out of it to many times in here,meanest place in manchester by far!!!

@0161775 Yeah SICK gaff been going since 2001. Changed a bit now tho, but Tribal Gathering nights 10-6 every month. Ah man the vibe was amazing for such a cramped up, pilled up to the eyeballs club. I watched the Plumps play, Krafty Kuts ( i think) and first time i went Josh Wink, someone else upstairs. He played higher state as encore. Banging night.

Good for you, mate. Glad one of us still has the legs for it. ;)
I do pop one or two at home now and then...play some tunes and stare into the visualisations on Windows Media Player.....or pop a fractal generator in the DVD player. But, when I got to like 30 or so, I just found I couldn't keep up as regards actual clubbing.
So what was Sankeys like in 2006 then? Had it changed much since the early days?

My time at Sankeys was in the beginning...through the 90's. At 39 I'm just too old for it now, but glad to see you lot with a few less years on the clock carrying on the tradition.
I'd like one last rave, but I wouldn't swap the chance for all my memories....including The Hacienda and the birth of 'Madchester'.
God I feel old! :'(
