For the ones who call new 1 series "ugly", I advice them to see it on the road. I think new 1 series is the most elegant car in small family class. It just needs some time for people get used to it.

@drmastermka - Seen it in the showroom and on the road.... still ugly =;-) Problem is, the look of a car is very subjective. I've been running a 2009 118d for 3 years now and I love the look of it - quite a bold design, even though several of my friends hate it. The new 1 Series (to my eye) looks like they've "softened" all the lines, a bit like an ice sculpture starting to melt. I would have replaced it this year with a new 1 Series, but I'm now switching to the new 3 Series.

Why are any of us even debating this video. This vid obviously wasn't made for us. You don't hire these two guys, and then dress them that gay to appeal to men. This vid is made to introduce the new 1 series to bitchy women, flamboyantly gay men and the confused women that love them. I mean look at this dudes shoes at 0:57. It's soooo obvious that gay men were in charge of this whole little film.

As long as they dont kill the coupe, im okay with them introducing a hatch.... with the state of the economy worldwide, and the whole green bullshit, automakers need an option to fulfill the trend...to keep revenue flowing in, your higher end companies are bound to make cars that are easier to afford...at the end of the day you get this... still more exciting than other hatches on the market
