The Beatles sing about rain in a beautiful garden. Also, George talks about the song (for about 10 seconds).

Ringo has said that the Beatles song in which he is most proud of his drumming is Rain. Paul's bass part is also really cool in this song.

  • two words, EAR GASIM!!!!

  • This is simply BADASS<3

  • This is Ringo's favorite song that he drummed to! I love it as well!

  • brilliant

  • There may be much debate about this, but I have always prefered this to 'Tomorrow Never Knows' (and that's not easy to do, as both are excellently crafted). This is the ultimate statement-at the time-I feel of what direction The Beatles wanted everyone to know they were headed as artists. Just an amazing example of perfectly crafted musicianship.

  • It was done in the same session as "Rain" as a promo film.

  • Right on Beatles right on.

  • McCartney was injured in a moped accident on 26 December 1965, and closeups in the film reveal a scarred lip and a chipped tooth. (wikipedia)

This is the B-side to Paperback Writer (June 66) and never released on Revolver which came out two months later.
