This video contains no audio as the final projection is intended for the Cube video screen in downtown Kitchener.

This video was a finalist for the City of Kitchener's student video contest, high school category. The winners' and finalists' videos were played on the digital projection system, known as the Cube, atop city hall's Berlin Tower. The projections on the Cube promote upcoming events and festivals in the community and showcase creative video work as a form of public art.



From the director:
I was inspired to make this video because of the song "This is War" by 30 Seconds to Mars. Walking around Victoria Park I saw all of the historical statues, that each represent a moment in time. The I noticed that a lot of these statues were about war and fighting. But because of that war and fighting we can experience the moments we have today. So why not take a moment to remember those who gave us ours. - Casey Gibbons
